The snow has been falling across the Alps over the last few weeks and a beautiful White Christmas is approaching. Our luxury chalets and apartments are welcoming guests and the Christmas trees are en route, ready to create some magical festivities. If you’re looking out of the office window and craving the fresh snow that we’re experiencing in abundance, then see our final remaining availability for a Christmas in the Alps at the bottom of the page.
For those who are lucky enough to be coming to indulge in our bespoke holidays this Christmas, we have rounded up the Christmas events in each of our specially selected resorts.

Val d’Isère
Festivities begin from the 22 December in Val d’Isère, with attractions and discoveries for both adults and children. View the lights and illuminations but also seek out their famous snow sculptures. For children, there is a Christmas Igloo which will be manned by Santa’s very own elves, ready to delight with children’s shows, carols, workshops, crafts and surprises aplenty.
Christmas Eve: Join Santa in a ski down the pistes, coming to rest, in convoy, in the centre of the village. It’s not every day you can say you skied with Santa!
Boxing Day: Don’t miss the torchlight descent by the ski instructors, followed by a grand fireworks show.
More activities will be added to the agenda as we get closer to the time, so do keep an eye on their Facebook page and website for more detailed information.

Méribel’s Celebrations are thinking outside of the box, as always, with Santa arriving on a sleigh pulled by horses and accompanied by “The Gifts”; Mademoiselle Paillette’s troupe of circus acrobats and performers surrounding our favourite festive fellow. On arrival in the centre of Meribel, a jazz band will play ‘New Orleans’ Christmas songs whilst Elves welcome Santa to his “throne”. Finally, as is tradition in Meribel, there will be carols for everybody around the big Christmas tree outside The Tourist Office with hot drinks and chocolates. There isn’t a set time for this yet, but the Méribel website is stating Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is when you can check this out, and from previous years this is normally around 5pm.
On both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day there will be the obligatory torchlight descent with Father Christmas in tow! Head to La Chaudanne to catch this, fireworks and complimentary hot drinks! From 430pm to 630pm.

Starting daily from 23 December, Courchevel will be delighting with a Street Theatre Show and travelling host of fairies and elves through all of the Courchevel Villages. Check their website for exact times, but they are between 3pm-530pm, perfect for little ones to catch, post-ski. For a Christmas Eve sighting, you can catch Santa and his juggling, stilt walking helpers in Courchevel 1850 from 7pm, accompanied by, of course, a fireworks display.
As for Christmas Day itself, head to Courchevel Moriond for the ‘Kachtelane Show’, a family orientated show sure to wow and amaze with interactive magic elements from Nikolai Starosseltsey, all the way from Moscow Circus Academy!
