Easter Holiday – French Alps

Easter is one of the most glorious times in the French Alps but it is often overlooked when planning a ski holiday. In contrast to the chilly mid-winter weather experienced during the February Half Term, the milder spring temperatures tend to be more inviting for families and in particular, those with younger children. The quality of snow in high altitude domains, such as Les Trois Vallèes and Val d’Isère, is often at its best and bluebird skies and sunshine is a great excuse to enjoy long lunches that extend to après-ski.

Guests in our catered chalets will enjoy some delicious chocolate treats from Amelia Rope and there will be a special Easter egg hunt for any little ones in your group. Your private chef will create a bespoke afternoon tea with freshly baked hot cross buns and a selection of Easter sweet and savoury treats. Alternatively, if your long lunches are likely to extend well into the evening perhaps one of our luxury self-catered apartments will be better suited to your needs. Located in Les Gets and Val d’Isère, our apartments vary in size sleeping up to a maximum of 12 guests. Guests benefit from pre-arrival and in-resort concierge, alleviating the stress of organising lift tickets, ski hire, instructors or even a lunch reservation on the mountain.
