Over summer we have been busy at Consensio with lots new things planned for the 2016/17 winter. From the new chalet Calistoga to the addition of two luxury apartments, a new partnership with breakfast legend Duck and Waffle and a brand new website, we are always seeking out new ways to exceed expectations and leave lasting impressions.
Consensio Luxury Alpine Apartments
This season we have expanded our bespoke portfolio of catered ski chalets to include a boutique collection of luxury Alpine apartments. The introduction of apartments is aimed at addressing the needs of our discerning clientele who may travel with a smaller party or seek a more understated level of service and look to explore the local restaurants during their stay.
Each apartment has been chosen because of its quality of interior design, location and comfort level for which Consensio is renowned. These apartments will offer the alternate option of self-catered ski accommodation. Guests continue to benefit from a pre-arrival and in-resort concierge service, yet can enjoy a more independent ski holiday experience.
Swim on Top of the World at Grand Corniche
Winner of the 2015 World Ski Awards ‘Best Ski chalet in France’, Chalet Grand Corniche in Les Gets is elevated to new heights this winter by the addition of a newly constructed outdoor heated infinity pool.
Float on top of the world and swim under open skies in the fresh mountain air, in the secluded privacy of Chalet Grand Corniche. Recognised for its superior health benefits and environmental friendliness, the pool utilises the innovative technology of an Ozone water treatment system allowing guests to enjoy an entirely chemical free swim in refreshingly clean, odourless and chlorine-free water. Ready for the 2016/17 season, the pool overlooks the valley and surrounding mountains, offering spectacular views across snow-capped peaks.
Duck and Waffle Breakfast with a Mountain View
Consensio officially partnered with the iconic Duck & Waffle restaurant in London to bring a little bit of Duck & Waffle on a plate to the Consensio chalets. With a menu created in partnership with Duck & Waffle’s ingenious Head Chef Tom Cenci, Consensio will offer guests a feature breakfast three mornings of their stay serving a selection of signature dishes to be enjoyed with spectacular Alpine vistas. These will include:
Shakshuka: Eggs, toast, harissa yoghurt & mint
Duck Egg en Cocotte: Wild mushrooms, Gruyère, truffles, soldiers
Bananas Brûlée: Homemade hazelnut & chocolate spread, vanilla ice cream, peanut crunch
