The choice of resorts in which we operate has been carefully considered with both our owners and guests in mind. All our resorts are well known and popular due to their access to unparalleled ski terrain. The ski areas of Les Trois Vallées, Espace Killy and Portes du Soleil are three of the biggest ski domaines in France. Each one is well connected by easy lift connections and provides a good mix of varying difficulty of pistes.
Méribel and Courchevel are located in Les Trois Vallées which is noted as the largest ski area in the world. Located in the Tarentaise valley of Savoie, these two resorts give access to the surrounding villages and allow easy access to the Val Thorens valley reaching the dizzying heights of 3,200m. The high altitude nature of this ski area means that there is skiing from early December through to late April, the lower resorts are well serviced by snow making equipment meaning that return pistes to the lower villages are always in good condition.
Val d’Isère is our highest altitude resort. Located in the Espace Killy ski domaine in the Tarentaise valley, it allows access to the neighbouring resort of Tignes and connected villages. Renowned for its’ off piste, the resort of Val d’Isère has recently invested in its’ beginner facilities around the Solaise ski area which ensures easy access to the ‘debutante’ or beginner slopes. Strict planning regulations mean that the resort has retained an authentic village feel.
Morzine and Les Gets are located in the Portes du Soleil which translates as ‘Doors of the Sun’. Situated a mere hour’s drive from Geneva airport, these resorts are very popular for families with children and corporate groups wanting shorter holidays. You can use the extensive network of 300 pistes to reach any one of the thirteen different ski resorts, seven of which are in France and five being located over the Swiss border.
Positioned in renowned Les Trois Vallèes, Courchevel 1850 is a prestigious ski resort orientated towards pure luxury. It’s picture perfect slopes and glamorous off-piste culture attracts the likes of royalty and the world’s rich and famous. As the home of Alpine chic, Courchevel’s luxury ski chalets are amongst the very best in the world and resort amenities are second to none.
Courchevel is connected to world’s largest lift-linked ski area, accessing 600km of piste and over 170 lifts. With an exceptional snow record, the season is long and reliable. The terrain on offer is varied and enormously appealing to skiers of all ages and abilities; beginners can cruise wide tree lined blue runs, whilst the more experienced skiers can tackle technical runs like Les Suisses.
There is no shortage of fun to be had off the slopes, with an excellent selection of boutiques shops, après ski bars and post-party night clubs. New to the resort, Aquamotion has also been making waves as a must do on the to-do-list. However, in addition to fantastic skiing, the jewel on Courchevel’s crown has to be it’s world class cuisine, which boasts four 2* and 1* Michelin Restaurants. With so much to offer, it is no wonder Courchevel has a loyal legion of followers who return every season.
Val d’Isère – Espace Killy
Perched high above the cloud line, Val d’Isère is a ‘must ski’ destination that is naturally linked with Tignes to create the high altitude domaine, l’Espace Killy. With record snow fall you will find excellent conditions from late November to May and some of the best skiing in Europe, if not the world.
A €16million revamp of the main Solaise mountain base includes a new high speed Gondola, ready for winter 2016/17. Complete with heated seats and WIFI, skiers will be transported from an elevation of 1831m to 2250m in just 7 minutes. As part of this redevelopment, a new children’s area will feature a covered magic carpet lift and tubing runs. Whilst Val d’Isère offers an extensive choice of terrain suited to all abilities, it’s pièce de résistance is it’s incredible backcountry; which serves up some of the best off-piste skiing in the world.
With innumerable activities to explore, Val d’Isère is a fantastic destination for skiers and non-skiers alike. Enjoy a husky sledging experience or dive beneath the ice on Tignes Le Lac. For those seeking a calmer pace, explore designer boutiques, sunny terraces and the many amazing restaurants that line Val d’Isère’s streets; and be sure to dance in your ski boots and make the most of Val d’Isère’s infamous après ski scene at legendary venues such as, Folie Douce and Cocorico.
Méribel – Les Trois Vallées
At the heart of Les Trois Vallées, Méribel is superbly located to explore over 600km of vast terrain. Connected by one of world best lift systems, skiers can ski all day without ever skiing the same run twice! With each Gondola linking to a new valley, there are limitless powder opportunities to discover. Take the Burgin-Saulire to access the stylish resort of Courchevel, or ski the high altitude domain of Val Thorens using the Tougnette lift. With so much to choose from, you will find something entertain all ski abilities and ages.
Méribel itself is arguably one of the most beautiful Alpine villages in the French Alps. It has a warm atmospheric buzz and a happening après-ski scene. Offering an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants to include; the Michelin star Restaurant Starlit–The Ekrin, La Fruitière, Le Poste, Chez Kiki and the renowned La Folie Douce. Morzine – Portes Du Soleil
Morzine sits within the large “Portes du Soleil” ski area, conveniently located just one hours drive from Geneva airport. This short transfer times makes Morzine the perfect destination for families or corporate groups, looking for an easily accessible luxury Alpine escape.
There are over 650km of pistes to choose from within the Portes du Soleil area, with terrain suited to all levels. Beginners can ski gentle tree lined pistes, whilst the more experienced skier can challenge themselves with the Mur Suisse or Swiss Wall, located on the French / Swiss border.
Morzine village is picturesque, having maintained a historical Savoyard aesthetic and warm traditional feel, with traditional wooden chalets and slated rooftops. The bustling town centre is lined with lively bars, restaurants and packed with great facilities and activities, including an ice-rink, swimming pool, Ski Joering and a weekly market; ensuring there is plenty to be enjoyed both on and off the slopes.
Les Gets – Portes Du Soleil
The beautiful ski resort of Les Gets is situated in the vast and easy-to-access Portes du Soleil ski region. A mere hour’s drive from Geneva, it is an accredited “Famille Plus Montage” ski resort, making it is the destination of choice for families or groups seeking quality snow, great resort amenities and a quick airport transfer time.
Les Gets provides access to over 650km of skiable terrain, serving up a variety of groomed pistes and powder opportunities to cater for all ski levels. Generally quieter than the popular slopes of Les Trois Vallèes, Les Gets is a firm favourite amongst French locals; a telling testament as locals usually know best!
Les Gets is filled with a fabulous selection of bars and restaurants and hosts a weekly local market.
