2021/2022 Winter Season Ends on a High

As this winter ski season draws to a close, and while we close down our luxury chalets and apartments for the summer and say goodbye to our fantastic seasonal team, we look back on this winter and reflect on our highlights. We have also tallied up some fun facts about this winter season,  read on to find out more…

1. Welcoming Back Guests

This season, we were delighted to welcome back all of our lovely guests after not being able to host them for so long. Spirits were high across all our resorts all winter long, and we couldn’t have been happier looking after all of our clients, old and new, who were all so delighted to be back in the snow after a 1-2 year hiatus.

2. Relaxed Chalet Success

New for 2021/22, we launched a brand new collection of Relaxed Catered Chalets in the French Alps. This collection offers a more laid-back, family-focused range of chalets at affordable prices. We are proud to announce this launch was such a success that we have expanded the collection to add Chalet Blackcomb in Val d’Isère, available to book for next winter.

3. Spearheading Sustainable Travel

We embrace our responsibility to protect our environment, and we are committed to driving sustainability into all we do. This winter we made the ‘Protect Our Winters’ Pledge to become Net-Zero by 2030. This includes transferring to 100% renewable electricity and heat and using Zero-emission vehicles. Read more about our commitment to sustainability here.

4. Supporting Causes for Good

At the end of this winter season, we collected all our leftover food stocks from all our chalets and donated them to the Convoi D’Aide Alpin which drives resort transfer minibuses packed full of supplies to Poland for onward distribution in Ukraine. Additionally, for every week of this winter season, we donated a private accessible snowsports lesson to a child with a disability, in partnership with Disability Snowport UK.
