M² living space
Set within the peaceful Joseray enclave of Val d’Isère, Aurora is arranged across four levels, offering both space and separation for groups who want to stay together without feeling on top of one another. Positioned between the Bellevarde and Solaise ski areas, it provides straightforward access to the slopes while retaining a quieter, more residential setting.
The layout is designed with practicality in mind. On arrival, a private ski and boot room with integrated laundry keeps everything contained, leading through to a dedicated wellness area with sauna and hammam, providing a natural space to unwind after time on the mountain.
The sleeping floors are arranged across the middle levels, where three double or twin bedrooms offer a calm and comfortable base, two with ensuite bathrooms and one with access to a separate bathroom. Above, the primary suite occupies the top floor, set apart for added privacy and opening onto two balconies with wide mountain views.
The main living space sits at the centre of the property, bringing together kitchen, dining and lounge in one open level. A fireplace anchors the room, while generous proportions allow the space to move easily from relaxed mornings to sociable evenings. Balconies at either end draw in natural light throughout the day, with one extending to an outdoor hot tub overlooking the surrounding peaks.
Part of The Joseray Collection, Aurora can be booked individually or alongside neighbouring properties, accommodating up to 30 guests in total and offering a flexible option for both smaller groups and larger gatherings.
Defined by its vertical layout, private wellness area and considered living spaces, Aurora offers a stay that feels structured, practical and easy to enjoy.

Local guide
Val d’Isère is one of the most respected ski destinations in the Alps, known for its exceptional terrain, high-altitude reliability and enduring appeal among serious skiers. Combined with neighbouring Tignes, it forms the Tignes–Val d’Isère ski area, offering a vast and varied domain often considered among the finest in Europe. Here, scale and performance are matched by a more understated, authentic alpine atmosphere.
Beyond the slopes, Val d’Isère offers a well-balanced mountain lifestyle. The resort blends traditional Savoyard character with a considered selection of restaurants, bars and boutiques. From long lunches on sunny terraces to a lively après-ski scene, the rhythm of the day moves easily from skiing into evening. For non-skiers, a range of experiences including spa facilities, winter walking, husky sledding and ice diving on Lac de Tignes offer an alternative way to explore the mountains.
Best for
Confident intermediates through to advanced skiers. Off-piste enthusiasts and those seeking challenging terrain. Well-suited to families, groups and returning skiers looking for both performance and atmosphere.
Skiing in Val d’Isère
With over 300km of pistes across the Tignes–Val d’Isère area, the resort offers extensive and varied terrain. Locally, skiers will find a strong mix of long cruising runs, high-altitude bowls and more technical descents, all supported by an efficient lift system. The area is particularly known for its off-piste opportunities, with accessible routes for those looking to explore beyond the marked pistes.
Snow & seasonality
Val d’Isère’s high altitude, reaching up to 3,456m on the Grande Motte glacier, ensures one of the most reliable snow records in the Alps. The season typically runs from late November through to early May, with peak conditions in January and February. Spring skiing is equally rewarding, offering longer days, softer snow and quieter slopes.
