Five nominations across the French Alps

Since its founding in 2013, World Ski Awards has become one of the ski industry’s most recognised benchmarks for excellence, with industry professionals and travellers voting annually for the operators, properties and resorts they value most. To be nominated is to be recognised among the leading names in global ski travel.

This year, Consensio has received five nominations across four award categories, with three chalets recognised across Méribel, Courchevel Moriond and Val d’Isère, alongside two operator nominations for France and globally.

France’s Best Ski Chalet 2026

Chalet Bacchus, Courchevel Moriond

Part of Consensio’s Ultimate Catered collection, Chalet Bacchus is made for long ski days, slow wellness afternoons and lively evenings around the table. Set directly on the Belvédère piste in Courchevel Moriond, the chalet sleeps 14 guests across seven large ensuite bedrooms and spans 560 square metres across five floors.

The lower level is dedicated entirely to wellness, with a 10-metre indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, hammam and cinema room, while the wine cellar and generous living spaces give the chalet its after-dark atmosphere.

From breakfast before first lifts to afternoon tea after skiing and dinners prepared by your private chef, Chalet Bacchus is shaped around the rhythm of a fully catered alpine stay. Named after the Roman god of wine, the chalet has an energy that the name suits.

Chalet Le Grenier, Méribel

Part of Consensio’s Ultimate Catered collection, Chalet Le Grenier is designed for unhurried alpine days, generous shared spaces and the kind of evenings that settle naturally by the fire.

Set in the quieter Morel area of Méribel, the property sits directly opposite the Morel chairlift, with interiors by Nicky Dobree bringing a refined alpine feel to a triple-height living space filled with natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Arranged across five floors with a lift throughout, the chalet accommodates 12 guests across six ensuite bedrooms, with dedicated wellness facilities featuring a gym, indoor sunken hot tub, sauna and massage treatment room. In the evenings, when the mountain goes quiet, the south-facing terrace and the fire in the living room are where most guests end up, glass of Perrier-Jouët in hand.

Chalet des Légendes, Val d’Isère

Part of Consensio’s Relaxed Catered collection, Chalet des Légendes brings a more flexible style of private chalet living to Val d’Isère, with generous wellness spaces and the ease of a lighter catered service.

Set in a quiet, elevated position in Val d’Isère’s Les Balmes area, it takes a design-led approach to alpine living: contemporary yet warm, with natural materials, sculpted lighting and a collection of artwork and interior details that reference the legends who helped shape Val d’Isère’s sporting heritage.

The double-height living space centres around the fire, with views opening out across the mountains. Days here can move from the slopes to the spa, with an indoor pool, hammam, and massage treatment room, while the centre of the resort and the wider Tignes–Val d’Isère ski area are only a short distance away.

Chalet des Légendes joined the Consensio portfolio for the 2025/26 season, its first winter. Its nomination for World’s Best New Ski Chalet is a proud early milestone for the property and the team behind it.
